FFXIV News - Dev Blog: A Date with FATE in Akita

We'd like to inform you that new FFXIV: Heavensward information was made available by Square Enix today. The details are quoted below.

Greetings, everyone!
Bayohne here with a peek behind the scenes of the recent FATE event that was held in Akita, Japan!

■ Meeting with the Dev. Team
One of the treats of these events is the chance for the dev. team to meet and speak with the local adventurers!

■ Battle Challenges
We brought the Sephirot battle challenge and also had Feast challenges for attendees to tackle!

■ The Allagan Control Panel
The giant Allagan Control Panel kiosk, which debuted at Niconico Chokaigi 2016, was also available for attendees to try!

■ Meteor & Spriggan Denim
Spriggans are now available to adorn your denim jeans!

■ Character Prints
Using a new service, attendees were able to add photos to pre-selected backgrounds which resulted in masterpieces like this!

■ Letter from the Producer LIVE Part 30
This time, we were joined by the main scenario writer Natsuko Ishikawa!

Project Manager M also grabbed Yoshida's spoiler images and snapped some pictures of them!

Get ready, because Patch 3.3 arrives on Tuesday, June 7, 2016!

■ Dev. Team Message Board
Unfortunately, the usual black message boards were left back at the office, but the team quickly grabbed a white board for attendees to write their messages on!

The team was really grateful that everyone could make it to the event, especially since this is one of the busiest times of the year for residents of Akita!

We hope you're all hyped for Patch 3.3!
