FFXIV News - Dev Blog: The Suplex of Change

New FFXIV: Heavensward info is available on the dev blog from today. Read below for all the news, taken from the dev blog.

Greetings, everyone!
Bayohne here with a look at the recent FATE event in Kagoshima, Japan, Patch 3.2 and more!

Similar to the other live FATEs held in Japan, there were events like a battle challenge, a Gold Saucer mini-game challenge, merchandise for sale, and more!

The main attraction was definitely the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXVII!

We revealed The Gears of Change, Patch 3.2, will release on Tuesday, February 23, 2016!

We were joined by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox, the English Localization Lead!

Of course, no Letter from the Producer LIVE would be complete without Yoshida showing off a few spoilers... (click to enlarge!)

A look at rewards for The Feast (the new PVP content coming in Patch 3.2)!

New weapons you can earn by defeating the first of the Warring Triad--Sephirot!

A peek at gear acquired from the new Allagan tomestones of Lore!

New furnishings! (Now you can visit Faust whenever you want!)

Smile, everyone!

The message board features messages from fans to the development team!

Of course, Yoshida loves the opportunity to meet adventurers around the world...but I don't think he saw this coming! Was she worried about nerfs or something...? We're all wishing for a speedy recovery, Yoshi-P!

Thank you Kagoshima fans and everyone around the world that watched along with the Letter from the Producer LIVE! If you missed the summary, we've posted it on the forums!

(Unfortunately these sample plushes didn't come out as we'd hoped... We spared them from being destroyed by the Merchandise department though! lol)
