FFXIV News - Dev Blog: I Survived a Tokyo Game Show
New FFXIV information is available on the dev blog from today. You can read the news in the quote below.

Greetings, everyone!

Following hot on the heels of the PAX Prime 2015 retrospective, FINAL FANTASY XIV had a major presence at Tokyo Game Show 2015, and I’d like to share some photos and a video that take a look at all the excitement that went down over in Japan.

Let’s start off with the video!

The FFXIV area of the Square Enix booth took up quite a bit of space!

Similar to PAX Prime this year, the booth at Tokyo Game Show featured the Ravana Battle Challenge. As soon as the doors to the venue opened, attendees rushed to play, and a line formed immediately. Everyone had a really great time doing battle with the fourfold master of the blade.

And naturally, it’s not a battle challenge unless there is an “I Beat” series t-shirt up for grabs!

The Sony Computer Entertainment booth featured a demo of the PlayStation VR using FFXIV’s very own the Navel.

I wonder what it feels like to fall off the platform while wearing one of those headsets…

In addition to the Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast straight from the venue, Mocchi from the community team was joined by Soken and Maehiro for a special Niconico livestream.

That’s a wrap for this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

I’ll go ahead and sign off by leaving you all with some bonus pictures to enjoy!

-Camate (thinking about how many events and conventions there are every year…)
