FFXIV News - Dev Blog: Fan Festival 2014 in Tokyo!
A new FFXIV: ARR post has appeared on the dev blog. The new information is quoted below.

Greetings, everyone!
Bayohne here after a short break from Fan Festival to… talk about the most recent Fan Festival that was held in Tokyo!

The third and final Fan Festival of 2014 was held at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan, on Dec. 20 and 21! Take a look at a brief video that showcases the construction at the event and a few memories of the fun that took place!

Yoshi-P took the stage to announce the new jobs, but when he finished before announcing the “gun wielding job” that’s when Square Enix President “Mr. Headshot” Matsuda took the stage!

The core development team members were also wrangled into an area to sign for attendees! (Don’t worry, we made sure to feed them. I think.)

On the first night, special guest Keiko played a wonderful piano concert!

And the second night featured a rocking concert by the PRIMALS!

Here’s a small peek of the backstage area with Soken loitering around…

And here’s where the core dev. team members are watching on as Yoshida reveals way too much information as usual during the Letter from the Producer LIVE!

Foxclon was able to grab a minute of rest between hosting panels.

The player that was pulled on stage to scream (screech?) the “NOW FALL!” line from the Garuda song can be seen posing with the dev. team!

After the final attendee had gone, and the last piece of equipment was put away, the gang gathered around for a final “We did it!” celebratory photo! Great job, team!

And now… to rest. (Until the next Fan Festival)
