FFXIV News - Dev Blog: Cologne for Gamers, Part Zwei
Today we have another FFXIV: Heavensward article from the dev blog for you to read. We have quoted the new info below.

Hello, everyone!
Camate here to take another look at the activities that took place at gamescom this past weekend.

Similar to last year, the FFXIV team was there in full force with a massive presence spread across two locations on the show floor.

The first location was the Square Enix booth, which had 48 kiosks for attendees to test their might against special event versions of the Bismarck and Ravana battles.

Keeping up with tradition, “I BEAT” t-shirts were awarded to the winners of each battle challenge, and there were two new t-shirts on tap to honor the debut of these two new primals. Maybe, just maybe, we will see one of these at a North American event soon… (*hint hint*)

FFXIV was also in the e-sports area with an additional 24 kiosks where attendees were able to participate in the primal roulette challenge.

There was even a fancy stage, and Yoshi-P joined up with a party of attendees to face the extreme primal roulette.

The winning team was given a fancy “Battle Master” t-shirt (shown on the left). The staff shirts (shown on the right) were really nice as well!

It wouldn’t be a gaming event without fantastic cosplayers, and our FFXIV fans did not disappoint!

When he wasn’t busy interviewing, talking to players in-game, and hopping into the battle challenges, Yoshi-P was out on the show floor networking and making friends – like this guy here.

That’s a wrap for gamescom 2015! I wonder what kind of activities will be planned for next year.
