It’s nearly winter here in the Northern Hemisphere, even if those of us living in warmer climates can only enjoy the chilliness in the frozen food aisle of the supermarket. With 2021 racing towards us, it’s certainly time for that seasonal event…
The Starlight Celebration is upon us once again!
The Starlight Celebration is a time of generous gestures and festive fellowship, reminding us that even a customary courtesy can be a bounteous benevolence. It also reminds us of darker days in Eorzean history, which serve to make such deeds shine all the brighter.
So what’s in it for us- I mean, the children, this year?
First, let’s go over the details of the event.

How to Participate
Speak with Amh Garanjy in Old Gridania (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to begin.
Quest Details – A Festive Fiasco
‘Tis that season of the year again, and Amh Garanjy is making plans for an extra special Starlight.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if I spoiled the quest before the event begins, would it?
So I’m going to keep it to myself, and you can consider it an early Starlight gift. You’re very welcome.
Event Rewards
â–¼Mount: Snowman
What I can tell you is about this new snowman mount!
It comes with a pretty snowflake effect, giving it quite the fairy tale look!
However, what makes this mount truly amazing is that you’ll be lifting the head while the mount is moving or flying! It’ll be quite the workout for your arms, but I daresay our frozen fingers will be screaming the most.
Someone’s bound to try this, so here’s a snowman inside a snowman. You saw it here first!
Don’t miss out, because you can fit so many jokes in this snowman! *Slap!*
â–¼Furnishings: Unmelting Ice Partition / Unmelting Ice Loft
These furnishings give off a very chilly aura.
Icicles have formed on the underside of the loft, and just looking at them gives you the shivers, especially when viewed from below. Brrrr!
â–¼Outdoor Furnishings: Snow-dusted Tree
These snow-covered coniferous trees are a perfect winter addition to your yard. Placing a few of them should help fool your neighbors into thinking you have holiday spirit, even if you’re strictly on the receiving side of gift-giving.
