As posted on Square Enix’s Twitter account, phase 2 of the Final Fantasy XIV beta began on Thursday 29th of July at 2am GMT. The servers will now be running 24/7 which suggests the tests are going well. There is a third phase of the beta planned and after that we hope that an open beta will begin just before release. The NDA remains in place so we still can’t talk about anything that we’ve seen in the beta.
