Today sees another Lodestone update for FFXIV: ARR. We have quoted the new info below.

Patch 2.55 brings the main scenario of A Realm Reborn to a close in a dramatic finale, and asks adventurers to stand in defense of Ishgard along the Steps of Faith! Venturing into the Final Coil of Bahamut and the World of Darkness has never been easier, with their weekly limits abolished! And if you fancy yourself a gambler, check out the changes to Triple Triad and Chocobo Racing! All this, and more awaits players in Before the Fall – Part II!

* Please note that completion of the main scenario quest “Before the Dawn,” is required before undertaking main scenario quests in Heavensward.

With Before the Fall – Part 2 making its debut, we are pleased to announce the final four winners of the Casting Call Contest who will be making an appearance in the main scenario quests that were implemented in Patch 2.55! There were so many outstanding and unique entries that it was very difficult for us to pick the winners! The development and operations teams would like to thank everyone who submitted their characters.
