FFXIV Info - Fan Site and Database

It would seem FFXIV is going to arrive this year 3D ready. This was a big surprise to us as it has been kept a secret until now. A lot of big titles were announced to be 3D compatible at E3 and it is looking to be the next big step in gaming. Of course you will need a 3D TV or monitor to take advantage of the feature, and these can be expensive.

Square Enix released this video live from E3 which is meant to demonstrate the game in 3D. However, you can’t actually see the effect in the video itself.

This trailer was rumoured to be shown at E3 2010, and here it is! The trailer shows footage of the landscapes, battles, familiar monsters and the starting town Limsa Lominsa. We expect further information will be learned about FFXIV during E3 and we will be sure to keep you informed.
