We’d like to inform you that new FFXIV information was made available by Square Enix today. The details are quoted below.

* This feature, planned for patch 1.20, is still in development, and therefore subject to change.
Steps:
- Search for an item, and then select one of the retainers selling that item.
- Enter the desired amount and select Accept to purchase the items.
Purchasing items directly from the Item Search window will incur a 5% surcharge. This surcharge will never exceed 4,000 gil.
This feature will allow players to view their last twenty transactions.
* Transaction History will be reset by maintenance.
- Viewing Details of Searched Items
Verifying item quality (whether HQ or NQ) and details regarding materia-crafted items through the Item Search is not currently possible, but we plan to alleviate this some time after patch 1.20b. - Searching by Item Name
This specific feature is not yet available, but current plans are to have it ready for patch 1.21.
