FFXIV - Disciples of Land - Fisher




Fishers are the harvesters of the realm's marine and freshwater animal resources. The goods they obtain from their catch place them in direct dealings with both culinarians and goldsmiths.

Be it from the shore of a sea, the bank of a river, or the deck of a boat, Eorzea's anglers must constantly account for a wide range of factors to optimize their success, including season, time, place, tools, and bait. In addition, the sometimes perilous nature of desirable fishing holes, be they on or offshore, above or below ground, prompts many fishers to employ the protection of more combat-oriented professions. The primary tool of the fisher is the fishing rod.

Below is a list of FFXIV: ARR abilities for the Fisher class up to level 50. All of the Fisher's abilities use 0 MP or TP and have 0 cast time, however they use Gathering Points (GP) instead.




Actions


Actions are skills that the Fisher can equip to their bar and select to use at any time as long as their timer is available. Actions used in a combo will generate additional damage and effects. All Fisher actions are exclusive to that job.

Effect ends after hooking a fish, and cannot be used for consecutive casts. Cancels current mooching opportunity.

Effect is canceled if the same fish cannot be caught at your current fishing location.

Overwrites the effect of Surface Slap upon execution.


Traits


Traits are not actions and can not be equipped to your bar. They are earned as you level up and are always active. As a result they require 0 cast time and have a 0 MP and TP cost. They are also all exclusive to the Fisher class.
