Have you been enjoying Moonfire Faire so far? From such exciting rewards to relaxing aboard the Costa del Sol-bound vessel Queen Lhaminn and taking in this year’s newly illuminated stage, there’s plenty to enjoy before the festivities come to a close on August 26 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT).
And just as the summer festivities begin to wind down, we welcome The Rising as it returns to Eorzea on August 27 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)!
Can you believe that this year marks the thirteenth anniversary of FINAL FANTASY XIV’s rebirth? We all very much appreciate you so much for continuing to play FFXIV!

You can begin the event quest by speaking with the Wandering Minstrel in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.0 Y:12.8). It seems the minstrel has something on his mind once again, so why not stop by and hear what he has to say?

Wind-up Wuk Lamat
This year’s Rising introduces a minion modeled after Wuk Lamat, ruler of Tuliyollal.
Would you believe it’s already been two years since we first set foot in Tuliyollal? Wanting to take time to visit various parts of it once more, we took a stroll through the city with the new Wind-up Wuk Lamat companion in tow! With brilliant sunshine and lush greenery all around, revisiting the city reminded me just how charming it is.
Of course, a visit to Tuliyollal would also mean a visit to a local favorite place to pick up some tacos! The irresistible aroma led us straight to Aunt Tii’s Tacos.
We also took time to head towards the For’ard Cabins, where on your way back to town you can enjoy a wonderful view of Vollok Shoonsa. Naturally, we couldn’t resist taking a small trip towards the palace grounds for one last look.
Revisiting Tuliyollal reminded us just how many memorable sights this city has to offer. If you pick up a Wind-up Wuk Lamat of your own, be sure to bring her along as you explore places you’ve had great memories or even discover new favorite spots!

As you progress through the seasonal event quest, you’ll also earn several special orchestrion rolls. Once you’ve collected them, try playing them in your chambers, estate, or apartment and enjoy these memorable arrangements at your leisure!

Three furnishing items featuring artwork from previous adventures will also be available this year. They’re a wonderful way to look back on the memories you’ve made throughout your journey. These items can be purchased from the Rising vendor in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.7 Y:13.6).
The Rising begins this Thursday, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
