FFXIV News - Big Site Update

We have now completed our new crafting section to include all of the new recipes that have been added to the game in the last few patched. Dated recipes have been removed. The recipes are current as of the latest patch and we plan to add more as they are released. We have also updated the crafting guide to make it more current. This is mainly for new players or people who have never crafted before. The best part about the new crafting pages is you can now perform searches. You can search by the item name, the class that crafts it and set a minimum/maximum rank of recipe for your search results.

The materia section is entirely new and is intended to be a good reference point for all your materia needs. Materia is sorted into categories based on the type of materia and all stats are listed along with the equipment slots that it can be attached to. The search box on each page allows you to filter materia by slot, by category or by name. materia guide is useful for new players or people who have not performed materia crafting before.

The race pages can now be found in the World dropdown in the navigation. We felt more importance should be given to other types of content, after all the space up there is limited. Guildleves were also moved, they can be found in the Content dropdown. There's not much here yet but this is high on our development list. Coming soon will be information on primals, dungeons, hamlet defence and more so keep checking back. We plan to update the Disciplines section next as the abilities are out of date.>
