Camate here serving as your mane man to report on a special event currently going on in Nantes, France!
It’s a busy week leading up to the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXI as our counterparts in Europe are hard at work showing Heavensward content to various media outlets from France, Germany, the UK, and other countries at none other than a chateau! Talk about fancy!
Just to give you all a bit of perspective in regards to where this event is taking place, have a gander at the map.
Chateau de Challain-La Potherie, a neogothic style castle built in the 19th century. Rather appropriate for a Heavensward event, wouldn’t you say? It’s almost like a real-life Ishgard!
What’s that hanging on the outside of the castle? A banner with the castle’s sigil?

Let’s take a look at the scenery as seen from the castle. Someone is out there in the field…
Oh! It’s just Yoshi-P grazing in the grass.
(He’s probably in the middle of running a dungeon.)
The first day of the media event kicked off with a Heavensward presentation.
All of the attendees were then able to saddle up and explore some new areas on flying mounts, try out the new jobs, and test their might in a new dungeon.
Yoshi-P was interviewed quite a bit as well!
Afterwards everyone was invited for a nice barbeque in the garden and enjoyed some nice after dinner archery.
Quite a lot of media attended on the first day, and there will be more to come both today and tomorrow. Be sure to keep an eye out for articles with Heavensward information!
With the team holding an event that spans multiple days, it only made sense to stay in the area, so everyone decided to lodge at the castle!
Seems like a romantic room, but for me, I don’t know if I could sleep soundly in that type of atmosphere. Perhaps I’ve seen too many scary movies!
This little guy didn’t have any problem getting some rest, however.
Anyone who wants to talk to Yoshi-P on his coffee break will have to answer to this fellow first!
The real-life Ishgard seems really enticing for a vacation, but I think I’ll experience it vicariously through my character by exploring Heavensward first!
