FFXIV News - Dev Blog: Tokyo's FATEful Encounter (Part 1)
Today we have another FFXIV: ARR article from the dev blog for you to read. We have quoted the new info below.

Hello, adventurers!
Bayohne here to give you a quick overview of the exciting things that happened at the recent “FATE in Tokyo” event that took place at the NicoNico Chokaigi 3 show in Japan!

Apparently, the booth was even bigger than it was last year. There was a lot of fun stuff for attendees and the viewers on NicoNico to watch, so we’ll break it into two different blog posts.

The team hosted another special “Mini Letter from the Producer LIVE” at the event, with special guest Lead UI Artist Hiroshi Minagawa!

And once again…Yoshida was dressed up as a male Miqo’te. I heard it wasn’t even part of the show and that he just showed up to rehearsal like that. (I’m just kidding…or am I?)

The event also featured a special portion dedicated to fans talking one on one with Yoshi-P and engaging in a talk battle of sorts known as “Tell Yoshi-P!”

Sound Director Masayoshi Soken also took the stage to show a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of some of the music heard throughout Eorzea.

He even had a piano on hand to demonstrate (show off) his skills!

Here’s a few shots of the amazing cosplay that could be found at the event!
First off, we have the official costumes…

And the awesome player costumes! Which one is your favorite?

The event also had a “message wall” where attendees could leave messages for the development team.

Thanks for all of your comments, we’re bringing this back with us for the dev. team to admire!

Stay tuned for part two as we see what happened on the second day!
