FFXIV News - Dev Blog: No Sleep 'Til...

New FFXIV: Heavensward info is available on the dev blog from today. Read below for all the news, taken from the dev blog.

Greetings, everyone.
Camate back again with even more tales to tell from E3 2015!

During the show, Yoshi-P, Foxlon, and Koji Fox hopped into the Square Enix Presents booth and held the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXII. It seems that a couple of adorable guests joined as well!

With the Letter LIVE taking place just hours before Early Access went live, there were too many hot scoops Yoshi-P wanted to reveal, and factoring in the interpretation time, 90 minutes was just not long enough!

Yoshi-P started by going over company crafting and airship voyages.

He even flew around the floating continent while mounted atop the infamous Twintania!

Despite all of the hustle and bustle between the show floor and the live streams, the team made it out of E3 in one piece.

In addition to E3, Distant Worlds was held on Wednesday night right by the E3 venue, and the FFXIV team was invited to attend.

The orchestra masterfully performed two songs from FFXIV, "Torn from the Heavens" and "Answers."

The team also met up with Arnie Roth and Susan Calloway, who have both lent a hand (and voice!) in performing many FINAL FANTASY songs over the years! Of course, Susan Calloway is also known as the singer for both "Answers" and "Dragonsong"!

After getting back to the hotel when E3 finished up, Yoshi-P and Foxclon went into complete sentinel mode for Early Access to make sure everything was going smooth. With jet lag also tossed into the mix, I hope they were able to get some rest!

I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures in Heavensward during Early Access and beyond!
