FFXIV News - Dev Blog: Lighting Up Mardi Gras
From the Dev Blog.

Hi, everyone!

Sicycre here with the latest scoop featuring the pride parade in Sydney, Australia!

The 41st Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade took place this past Saturday, March 2nd.

Participants sported vibrant and colorful outfits, as they livened up the major streets of Sydney during one of the largest LGBT pride parades in the world!

Among the many participants, were two familiar faces who had a huge presence during the parade! Giant Moogle and Bomb floats lit up the night as they made their way along with the crowd marching through the streets, kupo!

Here you can see the floats surrounded by the fabulous crowd, full of excitement and energy! Aren’t they cute? These floats were made possible thanks to the local group known as the Sydney Gaymers.

Many Warriors of Light are part of Sydney Gaymers and when we took FFXIV to PAX Australia, they were very enthusiastic and supportive of the event!

These Warriors of Light suggested for us to partake in this pride parade and we were really happy to do so.

Around 80 Warriors of Light and local gamers surrounded and paraded along the floats.
YAAAAS!

Love and adoration among the FFXIV community is strong in Australia and we’d like to continue and show that we welcome everyone to join in on the fun.

Thank you so much to all those who took part in this amazing pride parade, and until next time, keep slayin’ in-game and IRL!
