A new post full of FFXIV: Heavensward information has now been released by Square Enix. The information from the dev blog is quoted below.

Greetings, everyone!
Bayohne here, keeping you all up-to-date on the weekend before Heavensward early access! (Why does Camate get the day off...)

We'll be heading over to the E3 show floor tomorrow to begin setting up the 32 Heavensward demo stations! I know many of you won't be able to go, so we'll do our best to bring you all the info via streams and Letter from the Producer LIVE! (Read up on those details)

Today we'll continue with our pre-early access series by exploring the Dravanian Forelands! The area you see behind this beautiful Au Ra is known as Tailfeather.

Alright, enough talk, let's run around!

Oh! Wild chocobo! That's new! Let's pet them!

OH, WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME!? WHY!?

I've learned a valuable lesson this day. The chocobo in Ishgard areas are very different from the domesticated ones that adventurers are used to now.

After that, I definitely need a break.

Oh, check that building out! I'm pretty sure I'll be fired if I show off too much (that would allow me to play early access uninterrupted though).

Alright, that's all for today! Where should we explore next?

- Bayohne
