Eggohne here with some eggciting egg-related puns to inundate you with!
Hatching-tide is set to return to Eorzea on Thursday, April 2nd!
I’m sure many eggficianados are looking forward to it, so I thought it’d be a good time to showcase the event a bit as a sneak peek!
As I’m sure you know, the festival first took place because of a dream that Jihli Aliapoh had. She gathered adventurers to help her realize her dream and over time the event grew into the large festival it is today!
It seems that Jihli has had another mysterious dream. This time, it seems that people have been transformed into spriggans and are being led by the “Auspicious Spriggan” to find some kind of amazing treasure.
Jihli believes that taking part in the egg hunt and searching for decorated eggs might just coax this Auspicious Spriggan into appearing! Now adventurers are rushing to her side to see if they can make her dream come true!
The city-states are also taking part in the fun and feature lots of colorful decorations.
Oh, what’s this? A broken egg, huh? Those are pretty rare! I wonder if people can find them all.
In each of the cities, you’ll need to become a spriggan and search for eggs!
Here’s an example of how you’ll look when transformed!
Lalafell for scale! Wait until you see their cute running animation. Maybe if we bribe Yoshi-P he’ll let us transform into a spriggan more often?
Let’s talk about event rewards! We’ve got four different eggings! Okay, that one didn’t work.
