The alpha testing phase has been running for a week now and already lots of information is leaking to the internet from the testing. If you know where to look, you will be able to learn various information about the game. Dedicated fan sites such as ours will not be posting any of the information as there is a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place and we would be told to take it down pretty quickly.
We understand how much you want to hear more about Final Fantasy XIV, we are in the same position. But when leaked information is spread across the internet on a large scale it can have a negative effect on the product. As the game is in its alpha state, a lot of content will be buggy or not working the way it is intended. Some content will even be changed by the time the game is released. If potential subscribers hear about the game in its unfinished, buggy state they could be put off by what they hear.
