Final Fantasy XIV News

Posted by Xenor Vernix on Jun 04, 2009 - 20:21.

After the Square Enix conference, the company decided to answer even more questions about Final Fantasy XIV. This happened behind closed doors to a select few gaming journalists and a lot more information was revealed than in the Q&A session that took place before it.

Among the details announced, Final Fantasy XIV will not feature a levelling system in the way you might expect. Instead, character growth will be based on the skill points you gain by using your weapon.

Other highlights include a full musical score by popular Final Fantasy series composer Nobou Uematsu and that PvP will be done in a similar way to how it was done in Final Fantasy XI rather than allowing PvP to exist anywhere like in some MMORPGs.
