Final Fantasy XIV News

Posted by Xenor Vernix on Jul 31, 2010 - 10:46.

Square Enix has posted a new video on Youtube showing how parts of the game was made. You can see actors performing actions which are digitalised using motion capture technology and then the in-game result. It is certainly interesting for anyone who likes to know what goes into developing a game like Final Fantasy XIV.

The #1 in the title suggests it will be a series of videos, however we've yet to see a #2 of the Life in Eorzea video we posted earlier in the year.

Unfortunately the English version of the video on Youtube is broke and unwatchable, so we have had to post the Japanese version. It's better than nothing and we will certainly update the article if the English version is fixed.
