So can anyone tell me if ffxiv would probably run better on PS3 or this PC? Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad 2.40GHz 8GB 800MHz DDR3 RAM GTX 550ti 1GB 500 watt Corsair CX500 PSU???????????????? | ||

It's hard to say because V2 will be using an entirely new engine and will scale better for lower end systems. Whether it will run better on that system than a PS3 will depend on what V2's system requirements are like. For the current version you only have the PC option. The game will run on that although with some lag due to the old processor. My old PC was weaker than that and it was playable. Best advice I can give is wait for the V2 beta, if you don't like how it runs on your PC then you can get the PS3 version. | ||

I should of been more specific, I was talking about v2, I played v1 and unsubscribed after a month, game was still too beta like for my taste. TY for advice though, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. | ||

It's tough to say because we don't know how well it will run on the PS3. Your setup should run the current game fine at mid level settings. | ||
