So, I really want to get this game but currently only have two laptops, both with decent specs to run the game, and no greatly situated area for gaming. I have been waiting for the PS3 release forever, but I'm getting a feeling that the November date they now have for it may never truly come.
A) Is game worth getting if I'm going to be playing the first couple months from my couch on a laptop?
B) Has anyone read whether PC players will have the option of moving their account to a PS3 account when/if the game comes out on that platform?
I know these may sound like silly questions, but my history is this. I played the original FF Online from my Ps2 for almost two years and loved it. Then a work buddy introduced me to WoW, which basically consumed 2 years of my life until I had to stop. Now my wife was cool with me getting FF XIV for my PS3 because I wouldn't need to be alone in computer room all night playing and could be with her in the living room during the evening. But because of the f'd up delivery schedule of the game I'm getting antsy. Putting in the play time each day is no problem, because I'm already getting 3-6 hours of play time every night on console games (Oblivion, Fable 3, MLB the Show) but I don't want to get the new FF game if I can't casually play from my laptop on the couch and what not. I know that isn’t ideal, but I’m hoping that the account will be transferrable when the PS3 game is released.

Like any MMO you should be able to log in from anywhere the game is installed, ps3 or pc, hopefully the psn store will let u download the client and u can log in from there.... worst case scenario u may have to buy the ps3 version.....
